The Great Britain

Programme number: MLAGB
Running time: 81 minutes approx.
Available on Steam Age Pictures Volume 15

This programme is a joint effort with TWR Video. It was shot with high definition HDV cameras, then edited in standard definition. The finished product is a wide-screen (16:9) standard definition PAL DVD-R that will play in most DVD players. On an older “4:3” TV set it should be displayed with black “letterbox” bars top and bottom.

Because this is joint production, we are charging a fixed price for this programme: £10, of which £3 will cover the cost of materials and p&p. The rest will be divided between
the Dean Forest Railway Society,
the Eastleigh Railway Preservation Society
the Merchant Navy Locomotive Preservation Society
the Railway Children charity

Please send a cheque (in Sterling drawn on a UK bank) or UK Postal Order, payable to Mark Fry to this address:

Forgive us if we boast just a little. Here are two unsolicited compliments that we have received for this programme:

This from a fellow photographer who chased most of the tour:
"DVD received and played on the Big Screen tonight. Mark - 10 out of 10! That is no "amateur" production in my book! Yes there are a couple of tiny glitches but they don't detract from a splendid
offering overall."

And this from someone who was on board:
"Just finished watching the DVD. 81 mins of pure nostalgia and pleasure. Well worth the wait, HA HA! Best DVD I've seen for a long while. Keep up the good work."
